Best Germany Proxies: Which German Proxy to Buy and Why

Oxylabs, whose pool returned the most distinct IPs of any vetted seller in Proxyway's April 2026 European test, is the best Germany proxy seller for most buyers. Only three sellers passed both our vetting and a 99% success bar in that test, which pools Germany with four other EU countries. Byteful answered fastest of the three and publishes separate pages for IPs on Vodafone Germany and 1&1 Versatel. SOAX lists 50 German cities, all 16 federal states and German carriers by name, but its mobile pool missed the bar. Entry-level residential traffic costs $3.25 per GB at Byteful and $6 per GB at Oxylabs, as of October 2026.

A Germany proxy sends your requests out through an IP address in Germany, so sites that localize by IP show you their German version. If the idea is new, start with how proxy servers relay traffic. This guide is for checking google.de results, German ads, shop prices on sites such as Amazon.de and Otto, and German pages before launch. It compares German proxy servers by type and ends with four checks you can run on any German exit IP.

We ranked sellers on Proxyway's published test data, then compared what each one sells in Germany: pool claims, city and state targeting, named German networks, proxy types and dated prices. Every seller had to pass our vetting rule first. Proxyway has no Germany-only test, so its figures cover one pool of German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch IPs, and we label them that way. We bought and tested nothing for this guide. Placement in this guide cannot be bought, and its links earn TrustMyIP nothing.

Christopher Vance, Web Infrastructure Specialist, comparing Germany proxy sellers for TrustMyIP.com
Author: Christopher Vance Web Infrastructure Specialist
Chicago is my base, and web access systems have been my field for more than ten years, including tools that sites use to flag traffic by IP address. That work shapes how I read a Germany proxy offer. The country label on a sales page matters less than the network that owns the IP and the city a site's database assigns to it.
I have not purchased or run any of these proxies myself. Every seller page, registry record and Proxyway figure below was read on October 22, 2026. Proxyway earns affiliate commissions, so I treat its numbers as labeled third-party data and check each seller's German claims on the seller's own pages. Where those pages contradict each other, I quote both sides.

Quick Answer: Best Germany Proxy

Oxylabs is the Germany proxy to start with: it sells every German proxy type, and it reached the most distinct IPs among vetted sellers in Proxyway's five-country European test. Byteful answered faster in that test and costs less to start, at $3.25 per GB for residential traffic as of October 2026. Choose SOAX if you need a named German city, state or carrier.

How Did We Rank the Best Germany Proxies?

Proxyway, a proxy review site, publishes the test data we ranked on. Its 2026 benchmark of proxy networks sent 1.2 million requests over 14 days to each seller's residential pool, filtered to five countries: Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands. The testing server sat in Germany, and most of the data was collected in March and April 2026. Each review labels this European pool with all five countries, so none of its figures is Germany-only.

Ranking rule: a seller qualifies if it passes our vetting rule and reached at least 99% infrastructure success on that European pool. Qualifying sellers are ordered by the number of distinct IPs Proxyway saw from them. On October 22, 2026, we then read each seller's own pages for German pool claims, cities and states, named German networks, proxy types sold in Germany and prices.

Oxylabs, Byteful and SOAX qualify. Rayobyte passes our vetting but reached 97.13%, and Proxyway's review says it has "no gateway infrastructure in Europe or Asia". Decodo, DataImpulse, Evomi, Webshare and ProxyEmpire cleared 99% on the same pool but fail our vetting, so none of them is ranked here. Evomi and ProxyEmpire list sneaker and ticket uses on use-case pages in their main menus, and the other three appear in the left-out table.

AIMultiple also benchmarks German residential IPs, against German sites such as amazon.de and otto.de, in a page updated on September 24, 2026. Its figures appear only in charts, and it names all six sellers it lists, Bright Data and Oxylabs among them, as subscribers to its benchmarking service in this category. We mention it for context and did not rank on it.

Why no figure here is Germany-only

Proxyway's European pool mixes IPs from five countries, so a seller's count there says nothing about how its IPs split between Berlin and Barcelona. Proxyway's Germany page does print German-labeled figures, but for Oxylabs, Decodo and SOAX its success and response figures match the 2025 study, and no row matches the 2026 one. Other German pool counts here are the sellers' own claims. The two Proxyway counts in the pool-count section come from a five-country test too, and both are labeled.

Our vetting rule

Sellers did not see this guide before it went live, and none approved it. A seller is out if any of these places promotes a banned use: its product page, homepage, main menu or footer, or a page one click from those menus. The banned uses are account creation, operating many accounts without bans, blocks or detection, ban evasion, Craigslist posting, sneaker or ticket bots, and fraud. NetNut and every brand Google's threat team linked to IPIDEA are out as well. Prices are as each seller listed them in October 2026, before tax.

Germany Proxies Compared on Test Data, Targeting and Protocols

The first table holds Proxyway's April 2026 figures for the European pool of five countries. Rayobyte is included for reference, although it missed the bar.

Seller Distinct IPs (of 1.2 Million Requests) Success Rate Average Response Note
Oxylabs 1,029,986 99.85% 0.59 s Requests through European IPs pass a load balancer in Germany
Byteful 383,612 99.87% 0.34 s Connections from Europe were routed through the Netherlands
SOAX 357,265 99.87% 0.53 s Its mobile pool scored 96.45% on the European test
Rayobyte (missed the bar) 325,047 97.13% 1.75 s No gateway in Europe, per Proxyway

If you want a fast German proxy, Byteful's numbers lead on that five-country pool. It averaged 0.34 seconds and took 0.58 seconds at the 95th percentile, against 1.37 seconds there for both Oxylabs and SOAX. The second table shows what each seller offers for German IPs on its own pages, as of October 2026:

Seller German IPs Claimed German Cities and States German Networks Named Types Sold in Germany Protocols
Oxylabs Four figures, from 3,537,899 to 6,264,823 An eight-name city table; state targeting is US-only in its residential docs None Residential, mobile, ISP, datacenter HTTP(S), SOCKS5
Byteful 296,049 "Monthly Active IPs" None listed Vodafone Germany and 1&1 Versatel pages; Deutsche Telekom in its static carrier list Residential, mobile, static residential, datacenter HTTP, SOCKS5
SOAX 1,110,960 50 cities and all 16 states 50 network names, including Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany and O2 Deutschland Residential, mobile HTTP(S), SOCKS5
Rayobyte Not stated Berlin is the only city named on its Germany page None Residential, static ISP, datacenter HTTP(S); SOCKS5 on Premium Residential

Every Germany proxy IP count in the second table is the seller's own claim, and no outside test has confirmed one. The section on pool counts further down shows how far apart those claims can be, even on one seller's own site.

Best German Proxy Picks: Oxylabs, Byteful and SOAX Reviewed

Each of the three sellers below can be the best Germany proxy for a particular job. All three cleared the vetting rule and the 99% bar, and they appear in order of distinct IPs on the European pool. Each review covers what the seller sells in Germany, its dated prices and the gaps on its own pages.

1. Oxylabs: Every German Proxy Type on One Account

Oxylabs sells German residential, mobile, ISP and datacenter proxies. Its product pages claim 32,000 German ISP IPs ("32k IPs"), 99,000 German datacenter IPs ("99k IPs") and 1,431,960 German mobile IPs. In Proxyway's April 2026 test, its European pool returned 1,029,986 distinct IPs from 1.2 million requests at 99.85% success. The review adds that requests "through European IPs will first pass through a load balancer in Germany."

Pricing as of October 2026: residential traffic on the $30 Starter plan works out to $6 per GB, falling to $2.50 per GB from 1,000 GB. "VAT may apply", its pricing page adds. Its ISP IPs start at $1.50 each, dedicated datacenter IPs at $2 and mobile traffic at $7.50 per GB. New users get a $5 welcome credit, and every customer fills in a KYC questionnaire that asks for company details.

Where it wins

  • All four German proxy types, with separate German counts for ISP, datacenter and mobile IPs
  • The most distinct European IPs of the three: 1,029,986, against 383,612 for Byteful and 357,265 for SOAX
  • A load balancer in Germany for European requests, per Proxyway
  • Residential filters for German cities, coordinates and ASNs, besides country and continent
  • Sticky sessions of 10 minutes by default, extendable to 24 hours

Where it falls short

  • Four different German counts on its own pages: 3,537,899, 3,579,899, 6,264,823 and "over 3 million"
  • Its Germany page advertises state and ZIP targeting for SOCKS5 proxies, but its residential docs limit both to the US
  • It names no German ISP or carrier for any product
  • The highest residential entry rate of the three, and its Germany page shows $8 per GB against $6 on its pricing page (October 2026)
  • Proxyway notes you can filter by "either a country or ASN", not both at once

Best for: teams that want the most distinct European IPs of the three, plus German static and mobile IPs, and can pass a company KYC check.

2. Byteful: Fastest European Responses and German ISP Pages

Byteful answered in 0.34 seconds on average in Proxyway's April 2026 European test, with 383,612 distinct IPs at 99.87% success. Its mobile pool also cleared the bar on Proxyway's European mobile test, at 99.87%. Byteful publishes an ISP page for Vodafone Germany, listing 16,809 monthly IPs, and one for 1&1 Versatel, listing 4,784. Its static carrier list includes AS3320, which RIPE registers to Deutsche Telekom AG.

Pricing as of October 2026: a 10 GB residential pack costs $32.50 ($3.25 per GB), dropping to $3 per GB for 25 GB and $2.75 for 100 GB. Mobile traffic costs $4.25 per GB in a 10 GB pack. Static residential IPs cost $3 each and datacenter IPs $2 each when you buy 10. Its Germany page quotes different "As low as" rates, so confirm the price at checkout.

Where it wins

  • The fastest of the three in Europe: 0.34 seconds on average and 0.58 seconds at the 95th percentile
  • A mobile pool that also passed 99% in Europe, at 99.87%, the highest mobile score of the three
  • ISP targeting, with separate pages for Vodafone Germany and 1&1 Versatel IPs
  • German datacenter IPs, listed on its datacenter page beside New York and Miami
  • The lowest residential entry rate of the three, $3.25 per GB (October 2026)

Where it falls short

  • Its German figure, "296,049 Monthly Active IPs", repeats on its residential, mobile and static location lists
  • No German city or region appears on its pages
  • Proxyway saw its connections from Europe routed through the Netherlands, not Germany
  • Its Vodafone Germany page lists static availability, while the same page's FAQ says static proxies are not supported for that carrier
  • Its Germany page's "As low as" prices differ from its product pages

Best for: frequent, speed-sensitive checks such as daily google.de rank tracking, and buyers who want IPs from Vodafone Germany or 1&1 Versatel.

3. SOAX: The Most German Cities, States and Carriers

SOAX's Germany page lists 50 cities, from Berlin and Hamburg to Paderborn and Ulm, plus all 16 federal states. Its FAQ lists 50 network names for Germany, among them Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany and O2 Deutschland. In Proxyway's April 2026 European test, its residential pool returned 357,265 distinct IPs at 99.87% success, but its mobile pool reached only 96.45%.

Pricing as of October 2026: SOAX's pricing page says "Germany and the United States are both in tier 1", its highest rate band. Traffic costs $5 per GB on the free Sandbox account and $3 per GB on the Builder plan, which costs $200 a month plus VAT. Its pricing page lists city, region and ISP targeting on every plan, Sandbox included, while ASN and ZIP filters start with the $1,500 Scale plan.

Where it wins

  • 50 German cities and all 16 states on its Germany page
  • German carriers named, including Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany and O2 Deutschland
  • A published Germany rate: $5 per GB with no monthly fee on Sandbox (October 2026)
  • Sticky sessions from 10 seconds to 60 minutes, per its help center
  • HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, plus UDP and QUIC support on residential and mobile, per its Germany page

Where it falls short

  • Its mobile pool scored 96.45% on the European test, under our bar
  • No German ISP or datacenter proxies: the page offers "German residential, mobile and US Datacenter proxies"
  • Its carrier list mixes in networks that are not home internet providers, such as Cloudflare Warp, Arelion Sweden and Belwue University Network
  • Its pool claims disagree: "over 12 million" residential and mobile IPs on one page, "over 191 million" on another
  • No German gateway either: Proxyway lists its gateways in the East Coast US, the Netherlands and Singapore
  • Its Germany page offers a paid trial, 400 MB over 3 days for $1.99 (October 2026), which its pricing page does not mention

Best for: city and state work, such as comparing local google.de results in Munich and Cologne, where the city filter matters more than pool size.

Residential, ISP, Mobile or Datacenter: Which German Proxy Fits?

The ranking covers rotating residential pools, scored on Proxyway's European residential test. Other jobs call for another type of German proxy, and the list of sellers changes with it.

Residential Proxies in Germany

Residential proxies in Germany route through home connections, so their IPs should trace back to access networks such as Telekom or Vodafone. They suit google.de and shop checks, where a site may treat a hosting IP differently from a home user. All three ranked sellers sell German residential traffic. For the cheapest German residential proxies among them, Byteful's 10 GB pack has the lowest entry rate, $3.25 per GB as of October 2026.

Three vetted sellers outside the ranking also sell German residential traffic, as of October 2026. Rayobyte charges $3.50 per GB for 1 to 49 GB, but its pool missed our bar in Europe. Proxidize charges $25 a month for 25 GB after a KYC check and names no German city or carrier. Databay sells shared, rotating residential traffic from $0.55 per GB in a 25 GB pack. Proxyway's 2026 study tested neither Proxidize nor Databay, and we did not check how either one sources home IPs.

German ISP Proxies for Repeat Checks

A static ISP proxy keeps one German IP for as long as you rent it. That helps when you repeat the same google.de or ad check and want the IP to stay constant between runs. As of October 2026, Oxylabs lists 32,000 German ISP IPs from $1.50 each, and Byteful sells static residential IPs at $3 each when you buy 10. Rayobyte includes Germany among six countries for static ISP IPs, with one list price for all of them: $5 per IP a month for 5 to 99 IPs.

Only Byteful names a German network for static IPs. Its docs list Deutsche Telekom AG and warn that "all the providers mentioned may not be available at any given time." Oxylabs names only non-German ISPs, such as British Telecom and Comcast, for its ISP pool. To see how static ISP plans compare beyond Germany, read our static ISP proxy rankings.

German Mobile Proxies on Telekom, Vodafone, O2 and 1&1

Germany has four mobile network operators. In a February 17, 2026 release, the Bundesnetzagentur, Germany's federal network regulator, names Telekom, Telefónica and Vodafone as the three established operators. The same release ties shared spectrum in 1&1's build-out areas to establishing the fourth network operator. Telefónica runs the O2 brand. 1&1 opened its own Open RAN network to smartphones on December 8, 2023, and said on November 11, 2025, that all its customers had moved onto it. A German mobile proxy should trace back to one of these four networks.

Few sellers say which one. As of October 2026, Oxylabs claims 1,431,960 German mobile IPs from $7.50 per GB without naming a network, and its mobile pool scored 99.66% in Proxyway's European test. Byteful's scored 99.87% and costs $4.25 per GB in a 10 GB pack, and its Vodafone Germany page lists mobile availability. SOAX's carrier list names Telekom, Vodafone and O2, but its mobile pool scored 96.45%. Proxidize sells German mobile traffic at $50 a month for 25 GB after a KYC check, with no carrier named.

Mobile IPs are shared by design. A Telekom community manager wrote in January 2020 that Telekom's mobile network uses carrier-grade NAT, so its private IPv4 addresses are used several times over. One German mobile IP can sit in front of many phones, and its city label can be coarse. For how mobile sellers compare outside Germany, see our 4G and 5G proxy rankings.

Dedicated German Datacenter Proxies

Datacenter IPs usually cost less per IP than static ISP IPs, and they stay fixed. But they belong to hosting companies, so a website or a database can tell them apart from home connections. They fit localization QA, uptime checks and tools that only need a German address. These vetted sellers offer fixed German datacenter IPs, as of October 2026:

Seller German Locations Price (as of October 2026) The Catch
Oxylabs Germany, with 99,000 IPs claimed; no city named Dedicated $2 per IP; shared $1 per IP Its Germany page lists "$8.25/month" for dedicated IPs, above its product page
Byteful Germany; no city named $2 per IP when you buy 10 No German city or German host is named
Rayobyte Frankfurt and Berlin, per its help center (January 2026) $3 per IP a month for 5 to 99 IPs Costs more per IP than Oxylabs or Byteful, with a 5-IP minimum
HighProxies Frankfurt only $1.84 per proxy a month, from one proxy "Available locations depend on current stock", and no network is disclosed
BuyProxies.org Germany on request; no city named $12.50 a month for 5 dedicated IPs You type "Germany" at checkout, and its page warns that picking Europe alone does not guarantee a German exit
WonderProxy 16 IPs in 7 cities, including Berlin, Frankfurt and Falkenstein From $40 a month for 5 locations and 2 GB A testing service with only 16 German IPs in data centers, and its FAQ says it does not sell dedicated proxy servers

Frankfurt appears in three of these six offers. The city is home to DE-CIX Frankfurt, which its operator calls Europe's largest internet exchange; a traffic record of 19.636 Tbit/s there was announced on July 8, 2026. WonderProxy stands apart: it sells access to its servers for localization and ad testing, and its FAQ says it is "not for avoidance of geo-blocks".

Matching a German Proxy to Google.de, Ad and Shop Checks

The right German proxy depends less on the brand than on what you check and how often you repeat it. This table matches common jobs to a proxy type and a shortlist from this guide:

Job What Matters Most Proxy Type Shortlist
Rank checks on google.de A German home IP, a city for local results, and the same IP across runs when you compare days Rotating residential, or static ISP for a fixed baseline SOAX for a named city; Oxylabs or Rayobyte static ISP for a fixed IP
German ad verification The network and region an ad platform sees, on desktop and on phones Residential and mobile Byteful, whose mobile pool scored 99.87% in Europe, the best of the three
Prices and stock on Amazon.de, Otto or MediaMarkt A German exit that holds across several pages of one visit Residential with sticky sessions Oxylabs or Byteful, both with sessions of up to 24 hours
Localization QA before launch A fixed IP in a known German city that you can reuse on demand Datacenter WonderProxy or HighProxies

An IP sets only the network location. It does not set a delivery address, an account's country or your browser language. For shop checks, enter a German postcode when the site asks for one. For localized pages, set the browser language to German too, because a site can read it alongside the IP.

German Data Rules and Proxy Checks

In Breyer v Bundesrepublik Deutschland (case C-582/14, October 19, 2016), the EU Court of Justice ruled on dynamic IP addresses. It held that one can be personal data for a website operator with legal means to identify the user through the ISP. As the EUR-Lex summary of Breyer shows, the ruling interpreted Directive 95/46, which the GDPR later replaced. Rank, ad and price checks rarely collect personal data. Scraping German pages that show names, reviews or profiles can, and then data protection law comes into play. Treat this as background, not legal advice, and read each site's terms.

How Many German IPs Does a Seller Really Have?

Sellers print German pool sizes in different ways, and few say what they count. As of October 2026, Oxylabs shows four German figures. Its residential page says 3,537,899, and its Germany page's search description says 3,579,899. The page itself shows 6,264,823 and "over 3 million". SOAX claims 1,110,960 German IPs without splitting residential from mobile.

Byteful counts 296,049 "Monthly Active IPs" for Germany and repeats that number for residential, mobile and static IPs. Databay, which passes our vetting but has no Proxyway test, lists 1,162,084 German addresses across 162 networks in a June 2026 snapshot. It adds a warning: the figure "is not live inventory".

What Proxyway's Germany page shows

Proxyway's Germany page, which carries affiliate links and coupon codes, prints what it calls "the results for the German proxies": 232,803 unique IPs for Oxylabs and 100,763 for SOAX. The page says that test made 1,200,000 connections to proxies in five countries, Germany among them. For Oxylabs and SOAX, its success and response figures match the European column of Proxyway's 2025 study, and the page gives no test date. Each count is under a tenth of the seller's advertised German pool. A two-week sample cannot see a whole pool, so the gap does not prove a claim false, but it shows what one buyer's traffic may reach.

A distinct-IP count from a test is a floor, not a pool size. Proxyway's reviews count 1.2 million requests per European pool. Against that, more than 85 of every 100 Oxylabs requests reached an IP the test had not seen before, and roughly a third did for Byteful and SOAX. When nearly every request finds a fresh IP, the test runs out of requests before the pool runs out of IPs. When most requests repeat, the count sits closer to the pool those requests could reach.

Which German Cities, States and Networks Can You Target?

City and state targeting differs sharply between the three. As of October 2026, SOAX is the only ranked seller that lists German federal states, and its 50 cities make the longest city list. Oxylabs' Germany page advertises state and ZIP targeting for its SOCKS5 proxies, yet its residential docs say state targeting covers "US states only". Byteful offers region and city filters without listing any German places, and Rayobyte's Germany page names only Berlin.

Oxylabs' Germany page also has a city table that names no product. Its largest entry is "Wolfgang", with 13,812 IPs, ahead of Frankfurt am Main at 7,166 and Berlin at 4,227, while Munich and Leipzig show 256 each. Oxylabs' residential docs say its locations come from MaxMind's GeoIP2 data, so read every city name as a database's estimate, not an address.

How Far Can You Trust a German City Label?

MaxMind's own accuracy tool, read in October 2026, places 71% of German IPs within 50 km of the true location with its paid GeoIP City data. Its free GeoLite data reaches 68%. IP2Location's accuracy page, read the same month, puts 81.98% of German IPs within 50 miles. Operators can also keep location data coarse on purpose. In January 2023, an O2 forum moderator wrote that O2 had decided not to register IP addresses to places more precisely. The thread was about a Paderborn user shown in Hamburg.

So a seller's "Munich" IP may show another city in the database a website uses. Test the city on the sites you care about, and read why IP location goes wrong before you blame the proxy.

German Access Networks Versus Hosting Networks

A German residential or mobile IP should belong to an access network that sells connections to homes or phones. A datacenter IP belongs to a hosting company. This table gives each network's number (ASN) and its holder as shown by RIPEstat, the RIPE NCC's data service, read in October 2026. We did not confirm which numbers each operator uses for mobile traffic, so treat the table as a guide for fixed lines:

ASN Holder (RIPEstat) Type
AS3320 Deutsche Telekom AG Access network (Telekom)
AS3209 Vodafone GmbH Access network (Vodafone)
AS6805 Telefonica Germany GmbH & Co.OHG Access network (O2)
AS8881 1&1 Versatel GmbH Access network (1&1 fixed lines)
AS60294 Deutsche Glasfaser Wholesale GmbH Access network (fiber)
AS8422 NetCologne Gesellschaft fur Telekommunikation mbH Access network (Cologne region)
AS24940 Hetzner Online GmbH Hosting (cloud sites in Falkenstein and Nuremberg)
AS51167 Contabo GmbH Hosting
AS8560 IONOS SE Hosting
AS16276 OVH SAS Hosting (a data center in Limburg, near Frankfurt)
AS14061 DigitalOcean, LLC Hosting (Frankfurt region FRA1)

If a German exit sold as residential belongs to a hosting network, ask the seller why before you rely on it. Websites can filter traffic by network number, and blocking a whole hosting provider can take a single rule. That is why the holder name matters for any check meant to look like a German home user.

What You Pay to Buy German Proxies

These are list prices for German IPs from every vetted seller in this guide, as of October 2026, before any VAT. "None for Germany" means the seller lists no such product for Germany:

Seller Residential Mobile Static or Datacenter Watch For
Oxylabs $6/GB on the $30 Starter plan; $2.50/GB from 1,000 GB $7.50/GB ISP from $1.50 per IP; dedicated datacenter $2 per IP Its Germany page lists higher rates
Byteful $3.25/GB in a 10 GB pack; $2.75/GB at 100 GB $4.25/GB in a 10 GB pack Static residential $3 per IP; datacenter $2 per IP (10 IPs) Its Germany page's "As low as" rates differ
SOAX $5/GB on Sandbox; $3/GB on Builder ($200 a month) Same rates as residential None for Germany ASN and ZIP filters start with the $1,500 Scale plan
Rayobyte $3.50/GB for 1 to 49 GB None for Germany Static ISP $5 per IP a month (5 to 99 IPs); datacenter $3 per IP a month Its residential pool missed our 99% bar
Proxidize $25 a month for 25 GB ($1/GB) $50 a month for 25 GB ($2/GB) None for Germany KYC for every customer; no German carrier or city named
Databay $0.55/GB in a 25 GB pack $3.55/GB in a 5 GB pack Shared rotating datacenter $1.25/GB Traffic is valid for 31 days; no static German IP
HighProxies None for Germany None for Germany Dedicated datacenter $1.84 per proxy a month (Frankfurt) Frankfurt stock is not guaranteed
BuyProxies.org None for Germany None for Germany $12.50 a month for 5 dedicated IPs ($2.50 each) Germany only on request at checkout
WonderProxy None for Germany None for Germany From $40 a month for 5 locations and 2 GB Billed by plan; overages cost extra

To buy German proxies in a small order at the lowest per-GB rate of the three ranked sellers, start with Byteful's 10 GB pack. On small orders Oxylabs costs the most per GB, but Proxyway's five-country test saw the most distinct IPs from Oxylabs. Check the tax line before you pay: Oxylabs says "VAT may apply", and SOAX adds VAT unless a valid VAT ID lets you use reverse charge.

Which Germany Proxy Sellers Did We Leave Out?

These sellers rank for German proxy searches or appear in other Germany lists. Each one failed our vetting on pages it runs itself. That is an editorial call under our rule, not a claim that the seller breaks the law. Each row reflects the seller's pages in October 2026:

Seller What It Offers for Germany Why It Is Out
CyberYozh Mobile IPs it says come from Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, O2 and 1&1 Its German mobile product page says it "gives each account its own carrier IP" and pairs proxies with an antidetect browser "to keep accounts isolated"
Decodo Residential, mobile, ISP and datacenter IPs; residential "From $2/GB" Its Germany page offers to "Manage and automate German accounts without triggering IP restrictions or bans."
Webshare Ranked fourth on Proxyway's Germany page One of its footer pages promotes running many accounts "without triggering bans"
Bright Data Listed first by AIMultiple, which names all six sellers it lists, Oxylabs included, as subscribers to its benchmarking service On its datacenter page, it offers help to "juggle multiple seller profiles" and to run social accounts "without ever getting blocked"
IPRoyal Named in several Germany lists we read Social media work "without worrying about bans" is pitched on its homepage
NodeMaven Ten German cities, from Berlin to Dresden A multi-account page in its main menu promises long-term use "without logouts or verification requests"
DataImpulse A Germany list on its blog that ranks itself first and NetNut eighth Its main-menu use cases list "Sneaker/ticket bots"
Geonode Three different German counts: 84,210, 27,596 and "over 500,000" Its footer links a use-cases page with a "Sneaker botting" card
ColdProxy "1.0M Residential IPv4 IPs in Germany" Its footer Instagram page offers to "Run dozens of Instagram profiles from a single dashboard" and covers avoiding bans
ProxyWing About 10,881 Frankfurt IPs A main-menu page carries the title "Run Multiple Accounts Ban-Free"
RoundProxies The same "137,000+ IPs" figure for 11 of 16 German states Its footer sneaker page says it works "with all major sneaker bots"
RapidSeedbox Rotating residential IPs on a Germany page Its footer proxy menu links a sneaker bot page that promises "more entries, cart attempts, or raffle submissions"

Two more warnings. Light Proxies ranks for "german proxy" through pages hosted on a third-party social site, and those pages offer to "create multiple accounts without worrying about being tracked or blocked". NetNut also appears in several German lists we read, including DataImpulse's, although KrebsOnSecurity reported an FBI seizure of NetNut's domains on July 2, 2026.

How Do You Verify a German Exit IP?

Run these checks only where the seller allows them. Oxylabs, for example, restricts IP-checking websites on its residential pool and offers its own address for the job. On a seller like that, sample exits through its own tool or ask support. Then check several exits, not one:

Four Checks on a German Exit IP

1 See what a site sees

With the proxy set in your browser, load the proxy checker from the button below this guide's conclusion. It reads the exit IP and any forwarding headers from your own request, and its WebRTC test shows whether your real IP leaks past the proxy.

2 Confirm the country and city

Look up where the exit appears. The tool shows country, city, ISP, ASN and timezone from one provider, ip-api.com. Compare its city with the one the seller promised, and expect some disagreement.

3 Name the network owner

See which network holds the IP, then compare the holder with the access networks in the table above, such as Deutsche Telekom AG or Vodafone GmbH. The tool shows a holder name, not a country or a "residential" label, so the match is yours to make.

4 Read the registry entry

Open the address block's registry record. It shows the registered country and how many addresses share the record, without guessing a city. Its own example is a German range, 79.192.0.0 to 79.244.191.255, which RIPE lists as Deutsche Telekom's DTAG-DIAL24 block of 3,457,024 addresses. A block that large limits how precisely any database can place one IP inside it.

Repeat the sample on a second day. If several exits sold as residential belong to hosting networks, or the city never matches what you paid for, raise it with the seller while a refund is still possible.

Which Germany Proxy Is Right for Your Job?

The best Germany proxy for you depends on the job, and every test figure here comes from Proxyway's five-country European tests. Oxylabs suits buyers who want the most distinct European IPs and separate German counts for each proxy type, and who can pass its company KYC check. Pick Byteful for the fastest European responses and the lowest residential entry rate of the three, $3.25 per GB as of October 2026. Choose SOAX when a German city, state or carrier name matters more than pool size.

If You Need Start With Why
The most distinct European IPs, plus static and mobile IPs Oxylabs 1,029,986 distinct IPs in the five-country test, a German load balancer, and German ISP, datacenter and mobile IPs
Speed and the lowest entry rate Byteful 0.34 seconds on average in Europe, and the top mobile score of the three, 99.87%
A named German city, state or carrier SOAX 50 cities, all 16 states and a German carrier list
A fixed German IP for repeat checks Oxylabs ISP or Rayobyte static ISP Static ISP IPs listed for Germany at both
Localization QA in German cities WonderProxy 16 datacenter IPs in 7 German cities, sold for testing

Buying for US exits as well? See US proxy rankings on single-country data. That guide ranks sellers on Proxyway's US test under a narrower vetting rule, so some of its picks fail the rule used here.

We read every price and term above on the sellers' own pages in October 2026. Check them again on the day you buy, then run the four checks on a few exits, starting with the proxy checker and a network lookup. If a site you check filters cloud ranges, how websites screen out hosting traffic explains what a datacenter exit runs into.

Is Your German Exit IP Really German?
Where the seller allows it, set the proxy in your browser first. Our proxy checker then reports the exit IP and checks 15 proxy headers. Ahead of a localization test, compare the IP's timezone with your browser clock too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is the best Germany proxy?

A
Oxylabs is the best Germany proxy for most buyers. It sells German residential, mobile, ISP and datacenter IPs, and it reached the most distinct IPs among vetted sellers in Proxyway's April 2026 five-country European test. Byteful answered faster in that test and charges $3.25 per GB for residential traffic, as of October 2026. SOAX names the most German cities, states and carriers.

Q How do you get a German proxy IP address?

A
Buy from a seller that lists Germany, then choose Germany as the country in its dashboard or proxy settings. Before you rely on the exit, look up its location, its network owner and its registry record. A German proxy IP from a residential pool should belong to an access network such as Deutsche Telekom or Vodafone, not to a hosting company like Hetzner.

Q Can you target a German city such as Berlin or Munich?

A
Sometimes. SOAX's Germany page lists 50 cities, including Berlin and Munich, plus all 16 federal states, and its pricing page offers city targeting on every plan. Oxylabs offers city filters, but its docs limit state targeting to US states, and Byteful lists no German cities. If a city filter decides the job, SOAX is the best Germany proxy to try first. Expect some city labels to differ between databases.

Q Which German mobile carriers do mobile proxies use?

A
Germany has four mobile network operators: Telekom, Vodafone, Telefónica, which runs O2, and 1&1, whose own network opened to smartphones in December 2023. SOAX names the most carriers, listing Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany and O2 Deutschland, but its mobile pool missed our 99% bar. Byteful's Vodafone Germany page lists mobile availability, and Oxylabs names no network. Ask the seller before you buy.

Q Do German proxies support SOCKS5 and HTTP?

A
Most do. Oxylabs, Byteful and SOAX support HTTP and SOCKS5 on their German residential proxies, and SOAX adds UDP and QUIC support on residential and mobile. Rayobyte's Germany page says every product works over HTTP(S) and includes SOCKS5 on Premium Residential. For a Germany SOCKS5 proxy, check the protocol on the exact product you buy, because datacenter, ISP and mobile plans can differ.

Q Why does a German proxy show the wrong city?

A
The city comes from a geolocation database, not from the seller. MaxMind's paid data places 71% of German IPs within 50 km of the true location, and Telekom's mobile network shares IPv4 addresses through carrier-grade NAT. In 2023, an O2 moderator wrote that O2 chose not to register IP addresses to places more precisely. Check the exit in two databases and accept a nearby city when the job allows.

Q How much does a German proxy cost?

A
German residential traffic costs $3.25 per GB at Byteful in a 10 GB pack and $5 per GB on SOAX's no-fee Sandbox, as of October 2026. Oxylabs charges $6 per GB on its $30 Starter plan. Static ISP IPs start at $1.50 each at Oxylabs, and Frankfurt datacenter IPs at $1.84 a month at HighProxies. On a small budget, Byteful is the best Germany proxy of the three ranked sellers.
